Description
This oil painting was started during a 5 day workshop with Ashley Hanson in the village hall in Port Isaac in May 2023 and finished off during Open Studios in June in Aylesbury. I go to paint in Port Isaac every May, however, this May for the first time we had the most glorious weather and we never got rained on, definitely a first. The piers of Port Isaac are particularly dominant in the landscape around Port Isaac where the television series “Doc Martin” is filmed and also some of the film “Fisherman’s Friends” was recorded.
This painting is currently unavailable for sale as it is on exhibition in Sheffield at the Fronteer Galley, the exhibition COLOUR runs from 27th March until 13th April.
