Description
Based on night views from The Shard (a 95 storey skyscraper) in the centre of London overlooking the Thames. A number of studies using collage were done initially before this painting was conceived, it then went through a number of versions using wet on wet oil paint. Franz Kline and John Virtue are some of influencers’ for this series. This painting has been lucky enough to have been exhibited at the AKA gallery in Cambridge in their open spring exhibition 2023.
