Description
This work is based on a glorious sea swimming pool built into the rocks at Bude in Cornwall. The pool is over 45m long fed by the sea every high tide. However, my last visit in October 2021 the pool was empty for renovations and the views of the rock and sand bottom from the sides and top of the cliff are incorporated into this painting. This artwork was shown at the AKA Gallery in Cambridge in their Winter Show 2023.
