Description
Based on the Cornish Harbour of Porthleven which has a double harbour and a removable barrier between the two harbours to protect the small boats when the weather turns bad. Portheleven has an iconic clocktower at the end of the harbour and this creates a dramatic focal point from any vantage point. This collage represents the rough seas and the protective nature of the harbour with the clocktower abstracted in red on the left. This painting is currently on show in the Galleri Soho in Sweden, so if you are interested in purchasing it please be aware that delivery could take a bit longer.
