Description
This quite large painting started off based on a wonderful sunset through the forest in Wales after a very wet afternoon, making all the trees trunks black and glistening. Then later on more abstract marks were added with the idea of cross between a sail in the wind and peeking through a window blind. The oil paint was applied wet into wet and the paint scrapped through with paint shapers, quick drying medium was also used to thin the paint and allow drips.
