Back working in the Studio
It has been nearly six months now since I had my foot reconstruction operation, and I have just transitioned out of my stormtrooper boot into an addidas trainer (except when I go swimming, and need the boot to get to poolside, due to the very slippery conditions) which is fab.  I expect to be able to start driving in the next 2 weeks, which I am really looking forward to, as I have been going a little stir crazy having to rely on other people, although I have to say my husband Philip has been amazing and very patient.   Plus, the really good news is that I can now stand long enough to spend half days in the studio, so brilliant all round.

SOME NEW GICLEE PRINTS

Excited and pleased to announce that I have had a professional photographer photograph five paintings (images below) so that I can have some giclee limited edition prints made.  The edition size will only be small ie 15 in total plus an Artist’s Proof and the actual image size of the print will be approximately 15% smaller than the original canves.  They will be printed on archival paper and using a fine art quality ink, if anyone would like more information please do email me.

New Giclee Prints:-  in order from left to right, Sea Pool II, Sea Pool Renovations, Circles in the Sand, Release and Sea Pool I.

NEXT EXHIBITION

Erica Shipley and myself are taking part in Oxford Art Weeks in Watlington in the Watlinton Wellness Centre, 1 Cuxham Road, Watlington  OX49 5JW, open 18th – 27th MAY 10.30am – 5pm every day, EXCEPT Thursday when we will only be open until 2pm.
Other news, really overjoyed that in the past couple of months I have sold two of my Sea Pool series to open water swimmers (who would have thought), Sea Pool III has gone to Suffolk and Sea Pool II now lives in Devon. I had a mixed media acrylic and collage accepted into  the RSWA – the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour Open Exhibition which was in January (this also sold) and I currently have one piece (Harbour Walls) in the AKA Gallery in Cambridge in their Open Spring Exhibition which runs until 13th April.
