Description
This painting was originally based on night views across the river Seine in Paris, including one from the Eiffel tower and it was started a number of years ago, and in theory finished, however, I believe that I have moved on and improved as a painter since then, so it has now been revisited and reworked with more abstracted shapes and mark making added, with a feel of the two opposing emotions going to the Fun Fair, magical but at the same time, especially when the fair is closed a little sinister and sleazy.
